Pets are nice, especially man's best friend. But there is something wrong when a country gets up in arms about dog fighting and cruelty to animals, yet smiles at the abortion of babies in the womb.
Michael Vick did wrong, but he didn't kill a baby.
Our response to this issue indicates how far we -- the United States of America -- have fallen.
Dogs or babies! Breaks my heart!

Hmm, I've never checked out a blog before. I was just reading through some of these and had to comment here. I don't know if you read back through these, but if so, I wanted you to know what came to my mind during the Michael Vick case.
Same idea...There were actual fans of Michael Vick, a football star, who have disowned and disavowed him after he was charged with killing some dogs. Dogs from a breed that probably these same people were arguing before, should be banned or wiped out because of their reputation, might I add. And then, as you might remember, a decade or so ago, fans of O.J. Simpson, a football star, held up signs of support which read, "We love you anyway O.J."; seemingly acknowledging the fact that he had brutally killed two human beings. I wondered then what the world had come to. And where were/are people's priorities?
