I'm a writer, counselor, speaker and pastor.
A native of Mississippi, married 43 years to Shirley Ann Salley. We have two adult children and four grandchildren. As a journalist I covered the integration crisis in the 1960s for The Associated Press and then specialized in education as a writer and public relations counselor.
I went into the ministry fulltime in 1980, as a youth pastor in Westlake and Denham Springs, LA. I have pastored the last 22 years in Escanaba, MI, Seattle, WA, and Blythe, CA.
